Five options, all inclusive of the private floor, table service and a menu agreed in advance:
No. No room hire, no cover charge, no service charge added at the end. The per-head figure covers the reserved floor, table service, the menu and unlimited filter kaapi and tea. The number you take to approval is the number you pay.
Yes, and you should. Send the date, headcount and occasion and you get back a package, a menu and a per-head figure in writing — usually the same day. That is the document to attach to the approval request, rather than a screenshot of a website.
Around sixteen people. Above that, ₹20,000 flat generally beats per-head pricing, and it has the added advantage of not moving when your headcount does. Ask for both figures when you get the quote and take the better one — the desk will give you both if you ask.
Yes — GST invoices as standard, with purchase orders, advance payment and corporate accounts all accepted, and vendor onboarding paperwork completed for your finance team. Send the onboarding pack with the booking rather than afterwards; finance is what usually delays these, not availability.
Yes. A standing arrangement sets the terms once — a corporate code for your organisation, bookings recorded against it, and a month-end activity summary to your admin lead. Most companies that use the room once end up using it quarterly, and this is what stops the re-quoting. Set up by Neel Sharma on +91 99721 31903.
CORPORATE_TERMS
Plus a complimentary familiarisation breakfast for your HR leadership before the first booking, and the terms fixed in writing so they do not shift between quarters.
48 hours for a breakfast, team lunch or offsite. 3 days for a full floor buyout. 7 days for anything with a guided walk or a craft session, because a guide and a workshop both have to be booked. Popular dates go early — there is only one floor.
Tell the desk as soon as you know. Per-head pricing is confirmed against the final headcount, so a number corrected the day before is straightforward. Minimums do apply per package, so a significant drop may move you to a different one — which is another argument for the flat-rate buyout if your numbers are unstable.
CANCELLATION_POLICY
If the date is moving rather than falling through, say so early — moving a booking is easier than cancelling one.
Yes — a complimentary familiarisation breakfast for your HR leadership, before you commit a team to it. It takes about an hour and it is considerably easier than explaining afterwards why the venue was wrong. Arrange it on +91 99517 90000.
Yes. A recurring slot is set up once against your corporate code rather than re-quoted each time, with a fixed per-head rate. Speak to Neel Sharma on +91 99721 31903 about a standing arrangement.
Parking is arranged on the booking — send the vehicle count when you confirm and the drop-off is on the main road frontage beside Sardar Mahal. Cars, tempo travellers and minibuses are all workable; flag a larger coach a day ahead. Share the Plus Code 9F6G+GG in the calendar invite for anyone making their own way.
Yes — complimentary filter kaapi and a snack for accompanying drivers and team escorts, on every visit. They wait comfortably rather than in the vehicle.
No — there is no lift in the building and the private floor is up a staircase. If anyone on your team cannot manage stairs, tell us at the booking stage and we will seat the whole group on the ground floor instead. Better to know when you are planning than on the morning, and it is worth checking rather than assuming.
6:00 AM. An early departmental breakfast that finishes before the working day properly starts is the most-booked format here — nobody loses an afternoon and nobody travels twice. Charminar itself does not open until 9, so a 7 AM sitting is genuinely quiet.
No, and that is largely the point. The kitchen is 100% pure vegetarian — no meat, no eggs, anywhere — with Jain preparation on advance notice and the whole environment alcohol-free. Nobody has to opt out of anything, ask twice, or quietly eat around the edges of a menu.
One limit: this is not an allergen-free kitchen. Milk, wheat, nuts, lentils and spices are handled daily. Flag serious allergies when you book.
Yes — a display screen, projector and Wi-Fi, with power at the table. Say at the booking stage that it is a working session so the room is set up as a meeting rather than a meal, with the equipment ready before the team arrives.
We don't do obstacle courses or trust falls. A guided walk through the Old City, a lac-bangle demonstration at a family workshop in Laad Bazaar, or an attar session — the Deccani perfume tradition — then a seated meal upstairs. Groups of 10 to 25 work best, and it is the format people take photographs of. Seven days' notice.
Yes. Reserved, air-conditioned and alcohol-free, with a well-lit entrance and staircase, clean maintained washrooms, staff in uniform and CCTV in common areas. Women's networks and mixed corporate teams use the room regularly, and an optional bangle or attar craft session works well for this.
Yes — photograph freely. It is a genuinely good-looking room in a restored Art Deco building with work by local artists on the walls, which does better in an internal newsletter than a hotel meeting room. Tell us if you would prefer we did not photograph your group ourselves.
Yes — a closed room with controlled access and service only when called for. Quieter than a hotel lobby and considerably more professional than a café, available from 6 AM. The Corporate Half-Day covers it, with 48 hours' notice.
Free, about an hour, and no obligation. Bring whoever signs off on it — that is usually the conversation that makes the decision.
01 · Visiting & finding us
The Old City rewards a little planning. Here is what to know before you set out.
We are in the Old City, a short walk from Charminar and roughly five minutes on foot from Laad Bazaar. The lanes are narrow and the signage is not always helpful, so use the map link on our contact page and call us if you are turning circles — we will talk you in.
Please check the current hours on our contact page, as they shift with the season and with Ramzan. The quietest hours are early morning and mid-afternoon; between 6 PM and 9 PM the quarter is at its busiest.
Parking around Charminar is limited and the pedestrianised stretch keeps vehicles out of the immediate area. Most guests drop off near Gulzar Houz and walk the last few minutes. For groups arriving by tempo traveller or coach, tell us in advance and we will coordinate the drop-off point and the pick-up time with your driver.
Before 10 AM. Charminar opens at 9 AM and the first hour is the only genuinely quiet one; the light is good, the bazaar is waking up and you can walk without negotiating a crowd. The second-best window is after 4 PM, once the afternoon heat lifts.
The plan we recommend most often: Charminar at 8:30 AM before the crowds, Mecca Masjid at 9:30, Laad Bazaar and a lac-bangle demonstration at 10:15, filter kaapi with us at 11:30, Chowmahalla Palace at 12:15, and lunch upstairs at K&K Private at 1:30. Everything on that list is within a ten-minute walk of us.
For a full day, add Salar Jung Museum in the afternoon. For a short visit, kaapi with us, a walk to Charminar and Laad Bazaar, and lunch — about two hours. The full half-day plan is here.
Not for a table downstairs — walk in. A reservation is needed for the private room upstairs, for any group over eight, and for anything with a fixed menu.
02 · Menu, kaapi & dietary
A pure vegetarian kitchen. Everything below is decided before you sit down, not at the table.
Entirely. There is no meat, no egg and no alcohol on the premises. Guests who keep a strict vegetarian household eat here without asking twice.
Yes — Jain preparations without onion, garlic or root vegetables are available. For a group or a fixed menu, tell us when you book so the kitchen plans for it properly rather than improvising on the day.
Tell us in advance and we build around it. Nut, dairy and gluten requirements are handled at the planning stage for group bookings. For a walk-in, speak to the host before ordering and they will take you through what is safe.
It is brewed in the traditional South Indian filter — decoction dripped slowly, then mixed with hot milk and pulled between two tumblers. No espresso machine, no shortcut. It takes longer and it is worth it.
Yes. For groups and private dining we share a curated menu in advance and finalise it with you before the date, including quantities and dietary variations. Ask us for the group menu.
03 · K&K Private
An air-conditioned first floor that can be closed to everyone but your group.
It is our air-conditioned first-floor private dining space near Charminar — a reserved room with controlled access, a dedicated host and table service, used for private meals, business meetings, family occasions and hosted experiences for visiting guests.
Eight to thirty, depending on the layout. Boardroom, U-shape and long-table arrangements are all possible; tell us the shape of the occasion and we will set the room for it.
Yes. Exclusive use of the first floor is the standard arrangement for a private booking — doors closed, service on call, nobody wandering through.
Forty-eight hours for most private bookings; seven days for anything that includes a heritage walk or craft session. Minimum spend depends on the day, the timing and the headcount — we will tell you plainly when you enquire. Ask for a quote.
Yes — projector and screen, Wi-Fi and power at the table, on request. Say so when booking and the room is laid out as a meeting rather than a meal.
04 · Corporate hosting
The private floor doubles as a corporate hosting space: business breakfasts, team lunches, confidential discussions, cultural experiences for visiting delegates and controlled VVIP service.
Yes. The whole air-conditioned first floor is reserved for your group, with a dedicated host, advance menu finalisation and a projector on request. Eight to thirty guests; forty-eight hours' notice.
Not the resort kind. We run cultural team-building — a guided heritage walk, a lac-bangle demonstration, an attar session or Deccani storytelling, followed by a private team lunch or dinner upstairs. Groups of 10–25 work best; allow seven days' notice.
This is one of the things we do best. The Hosted Hyderabad Experience gives overseas guests a curated introduction to the Old City with proper cultural context, then a seated meal in a private, comfortable room — the real character of Hyderabad, without a compromise on privacy or cleanliness.
Yes. GST invoices, purchase orders, advance payment and corporate accounts are all standard, and we can complete vendor onboarding paperwork for your finance team.
We coordinate the drop-off point with your travel desk in advance — usually near Gulzar Houz, a few minutes' walk away. Our team meets guests, brings them up to the first floor, and calls vehicles back for a planned departure before the afternoon congestion.
05 · Groups & celebrations
Birthdays, anniversaries, kitty gatherings, women's groups, tour parties.
Yes. The private floor works well for a small celebration — a fixed menu, a reserved room and a planned arrival. Cake cutting is fine; tell us in advance and we will set it up.
Regularly. Eight to twenty-five guests, a private air-conditioned room, a curated vegetarian menu, and an optional lac-bangle or attar session if the group wants to make an afternoon of it.
Yes — a guided Old City walk, a lac-bangle demonstration at a family workshop, an attar experience or Deccani storytelling, followed by a meal upstairs. Seven days' notice, as these need booking with the artisans.
We do, and we work with concierges and tour operators. Tell us the group size, the language needs and the drop-off arrangement and we will build the timing around your existing route through the Old City.
06 · Comfort, safety & access
For women, families and mixed groups. That is a claim, so here is what stands behind it — facilities you are welcome to inspect before you book.
Yes, and it is one of the reasons the room exists. Reserved access, air conditioning, an alcohol-free floor, clean washrooms and staff you can identify. Women's groups, families and mixed corporate teams use the space regularly.
K&K Private is on the first floor and reached by a staircase, which is a genuine limitation for guests with mobility difficulties. Tell us in advance — we will seat the group on the ground floor instead and assist elderly guests with the arrival. Please ask before booking rather than after.
Yes. The private room is the easiest place for a family with small children — the doors close, the noise stays in, and nobody minds.
Please do. Drop in during quieter hours, or call ahead and we will keep someone free to show you the room, the staircase and the washrooms. We would rather you looked.
07 · Payments & billing
Cash, UPI, cards and bank transfer. For corporate bookings we also accept purchase orders and invoice against a company account.
Yes. Share your company name, address and GSTIN at the time of booking and the invoice will be issued correctly the first time.
For private floor bookings, yes — an advance confirms the date and the room. The amount depends on the package and the headcount, and it is adjusted against the final bill.
Cancellations made well before the date are handled without difficulty. Close to the date, the kitchen has already bought and prepped for your headcount, so a portion of the advance is retained. We will give you the exact terms in writing when you book — no surprises.
Small changes, yes. We ask for the final number a clear day before, because a fixed menu is cooked to a count.
Ask us directly — we answer the same day, usually within the hour.
