Parking, lead times, group billing, tie-up terms and what the room can actually do — the things a route planner needs settled before a group goes on an itinerary, answered without a phone call.

Yes — book KnK Private, our private first floor, and the parking is arranged with it. The smallest package starts at four guests. Share the vehicle type and count when you book on +91 99517 90000, and the location is confirmed back to you before the day. Parking around Charminar is genuinely difficult, so this is the practical route to it.
It comes with a KnK Private booking — minimum four guests. There is no separate parking charge or separate booking to make; tell us the vehicle type and count when you reserve the room and it is coordinated from our side. Your driver is told exactly where to go before you set off.
Yes — for operators and walk organisers who bring groups regularly, we set up a tie-up, agreed case by case. The point of it is that your driver ends up with one instruction that does not change from trip to trip. Speak to Neel Sharma on +91 99721 31903, who handles tie-ups and deals.
No — parking is arranged against first-floor bookings. The ground floor takes walk-in groups freely, at any hour, with nothing to arrange. But it does not come with a reserved space. If your group is arriving by vehicle rather than on foot, book the room.
Yes — cars, tempo travellers and minibuses are accommodated. Flag the coach size when you book. For larger coaches or multiple vehicles, give us a day's notice so the space can be blocked and the driver route briefed in advance.
On the main road frontage, beside Sardar Mahal and opposite the BSNL building — guests alight directly at the entrance rather than walking in from a lane. That matters most with senior travellers, and in May.
Yes. Vehicles are brought around as the group winds down, timed to your closing chapter. Guests settle the bill, wait comfortably upstairs and step out to a waiting car — rather than standing on the pavement while the driver is called.
Yes — complimentary filter kaapi and one snack for the driver, and for the guide or walk leader, on every group visit. They wait comfortably rather than in the vehicle.
Yes — for the ground floor. Walk-in groups are welcome at any size and served on a quick-service format, with no arrangement needed. The first floor, KnK Private, is available only against advance booking and walk-ins are never seated upstairs.
It depends what you are booking:
Call +91 99517 90000 between 10 AM and 7 PM and share: group size, date and arrival time, meal preference, dietary requirements, and your company or programme name. We confirm availability, quote the package and send written confirmation — so you have something to put in front of a client.
Yes — a complimentary hosted familiarisation visit for you and your route planners, before you bring a first group. We walk you through both floors, the menu and the group service flow. It takes about an hour, and it is the difference between a stop you hope works and one you can promise a client.
Advance payment is required for large groups and for time-sensitive itinerary slots — a fixed departure, a delegation, a date that cannot move. For a standard sitting the balance is settled after, against the final headcount.
Tell the bookings desk as soon as you know. Per-head packages are confirmed against a final headcount, so a number corrected the day before is straightforward — one corrected at the table is not. Minimums apply per package, so a significant drop may move you to a different one.
Yes. A regular fixed departure is set up once as a tie-up and then runs against your referral code rather than being re-quoted each week — including a fixed slot, a fixed per-head rate and a standing parking arrangement. Speak to Neel Sharma on +91 99721 31903.
About two minutes on foot — roughly a hundred steps, beside Sardar Mahal and opposite the BSNL building. The route is on the main road, well lit, and fine for groups of all ages. Plus Code 9F6G+GG.
Yes — we open at 6:00 AM and are fully operational from that time, which is three hours before Charminar itself opens. Many walk groups start or finish their morning here, and the first hour at the monument is the only quiet one.
Yes, and it needs no arranging. The ground floor takes unscheduled group stops at any hour — fresh tiffin, filter kaapi and clean washrooms, then continue. Most operators start here and add the closing chapter once they have seen how the room works.
Everything in the precinct. Charminar, Mecca Masjid and the chowk, Laad Bazaar and the pearl markets, and Chowmahalla Palace are all within a ten-minute walk. Sardar Mahal is immediately next door, and is itself being restored into a cultural destination.
From Abids, Nampally, Lakdikapul, Banjara Hills, Begumpet or Secunderabad, navigate to Charminar by the standard route. At Gulzar Houz take the left, then right immediately at Arman Hotel. At the T-junction take the right towards Charminar — we are just after Sardar Mahal on the left, opposite the BSNL building. Tell the driver: “Sardar Mahal ke baju, BSNL ke saamne — Kaapi & Karam.”
On your right, just before Sardar Mahal. Take the road opp Mahalakshni Temple at Charminar, just 100 mts on the right before Sardar Mahal, opp BSNL building.
Yes — we are available to collaborate on organising and coordinating guided heritage walks in the precinct, not only to host the meal. Tell us the group profile and the time available and we can co-design the route with the sitting built into it.
KnK Private on the first floor, reimagined from a private dining room into a space for encountering the living culture of Hyderabad and the Deccan. It works as the storytelling chapter of a trail — a craft session, a talk, a music sitting — rather than only a room with food in it.
Curated introductions to Old City traditions, delivered at the doorstep of the quarter that produced them:
Yes — talks on Hyderabad, the Deccan and Telangana's history and traditions, intimate music and cultural appreciation sittings, and readings. These are curated with the Kalakriti India cultural ecosystem, which is what lets us put a working artist or a genuine archive in the room rather than a slideshow.
A 30-minute craft session is enough to close a walk properly. At the other end, a fuller half-day cultural programme can be built for a private group. Tell us the group size, the time available and the interest, and it is shaped to fit the route rather than the other way round.
Yes — culinary-storytelling tracks anchored around our South Indian preparation models and the chaat menu. For a food trail this is the natural closing chapter: the group has been eating all morning, and this is where somebody explains what they have been eating.
Because they involve people who are not us. A guide has to be booked, a craft workshop has to expect you, and an artist has to be free. Forty-eight hours is enough for a meal; a lac-bangle demonstration is not something to arrange the night before.
The kitchen is entirely vegetarian — no meat, no eggs, anywhere. Jain options, without onion and garlic, are available on advance notice. Communicate all requirements at the time of booking rather than on the day, and tell us how many guests need each thing, not just that some do.
Yes — it is one of the main reasons operators use us. An entirely vegetarian kitchen removes the whole conversation for Jain, vegetarian and religiously observant travellers, and there is no cross-contamination question to answer because there is no non-vegetarian section to cross-contaminate from.
Yes. KnK Private takes delegations and overseas visitors with English-speaking coordination, milder menus on request, a private closed floor and a heritage briefing. Arrival and departure are planned in advance. See the guide for foreign visitors.
Yes — team breakfasts, offsites, visiting executives and hosted client programmes, with GST invoicing and corporate billing. Many corporate bookings pair a private sitting with a heritage walk, which is the format that works best with a group who did not expect to enjoy the Old City.
Yes. Budget-friendly group packages, and the ground floor suits flexible and larger group sizes. Tell the bookings desk the number and the age group and it will be quoted for a school budget rather than a corporate one.
No — KnK Private is on the first floor and there is no lift in the building. Guests with mobility requirements are seated on the ground floor, which is at street level. Please flag this at the time of booking, not on arrival — if part of your group cannot climb stairs, we would rather set the whole group downstairs than split them.
Yes. Air-conditioned, alcohol-free, clean maintained washrooms, a well-lit entrance and staircase, staff in uniform and CCTV in common areas. Families, women's groups and mixed parties use both floors regularly, and you are welcome to inspect the room before committing a group to it.
Yes — billing for the group as a whole is standard practice. UPI, card and cash are all accepted, and invoice arrangements can be set up for regular accounts so you are not settling in cash on every visit.
Fixed per-head packages, pre-quoted and confirmed in writing at booking. They vary by group size, meal type and time of day, and special rates apply when a group is booked through a tie-up. The published packages run from ₹499 to ₹1,999 per guest, or ₹20,000 for the whole floor — see packages and prices.
Yes — GST invoices as standard, with purchase orders, advance payment and corporate accounts accepted. Vendor onboarding paperwork can be completed for a client's finance team; send it with the booking rather than after the event.
Your organisation is issued a unique referral code. The arrangement is deliberately simple:
Tie-ups are handled by Neel Sharma on +91 99721 31903.
COMMISSION_BASIS
It is agreed in advance, in writing, and left alone after that — the intention is a working arrangement between teams serving the same traveller, not something to renegotiate every quarter. Speak to Neel Sharma on +91 99721 31903.
Three numbers, three different jobs:
No question matches that search. Try a shorter word — “parking”, “coach”, “recce”, “Jain”, “notice”.
The recce is free and takes an hour. Both floors, the menu, the service flow and the person who will answer the phone on the day.
